MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Kiamba, Sarangani on Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck at 1:11 p.m. at 142 kilometers southwest of Kiamba.
Phivolcs said the tremor was of tectonic origin and had a 498-kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks and damages were expected, Phivolcs added.
