MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.2 quake struck Antique on Tuesday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Phivolcs said the quake was reported at 7:18 p.m. with its epicenter located 34 kilometers northwest of Patnongon town in Antique.
The quake, of tectonic origin, had a depth of one kilometer, Phivolcs said.
Intensity II was reported in Culasi, Antique while Intensity I was reported in Sebaste, Valderrama, and San Jose City in Antique, and Malinao in Aklan.
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks are expected following the quake.
