Nolcom appeals for calm amid leakage of memo on possible terror attack

TARLAC CITY — The Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) appealed for calm after a confidential military memorandum on possible terror attacks in its area of responsibility has been leaked.

Major Ericson Bulosan, Nolcom spokesperson, said they are still validating the information contained in the August 2 internal memorandum currently circulating on social media.

“The alert memo is genuine, but it was intended for the intelligence unit within the [Nolcom] area of responsibility,” Bulosan told the Inquirer on Monday.
