Chinese man nabbed in Pasay for scissor attack on countryman

MANILA, Philippines — A Chinese man ended landed in jail after he attacked and tried to stab a countryman with a pair of scissors in Pasay City Monday afternoon.

According to the Pasay City police, complainant Wang Jiyun, 31, said he was inside his office when he had an argument with the suspect identified as Wue Fan, 41.

Wang said their argument was about the suspect’s payment for the application of a marriage certificate.

During the argument, Wue grabbed a scissor from the office and attacked Wang.

Wang managed to get out of the office and immediately sought help from Barangay Kagawad Ricardo Galanta who then apprehended the suspect.

The suspect was then brought to the custody of the Pasay police who is now preparing charges against him. /muf
