MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Monday due to inclement weather in parts of the country.
In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the cancellation of the following flights:

Tropical Storm “Hanna” (international name Lekima) grew slightly stronger early Monday as it continued to enhance the southwest monsoon, the weather bureau said.

It added that while the storm is not likely to make landfall, it is expected to bring rains over most parts of Luzon.
Cavite, Batangas and Mimaropa will experience monsoon rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Bicol Region, Western Visayas and the rest of Calabarzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains also due to the southwest monsoon.
The trough of Hanna will affect Cagayan Valley with cloudy skies with scattered rains, Pagasa said. /je
