3 hurt as SUV crashes into bank in Bulacan

MANILA, Philippines — Three persons were hurt after an SUV accidentally crashed into a bank in Marilao, Bulacan on Friday morning, police said.

A report from the Bulacan police said Epifanio Villamar Guillermo was parking his vehicle in front of the bank in Barangay Abangan Norte at about 10 a.m. when the vehicle accelerated, accidentally crashing into the front door of the establishment and entering the bank premises.

Two security guards and a client withdrawing cash from the bank’s automated teller machine were slightly injured and rushed to St. Michael Family Hospital for treatment. /jpv
