MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will experience scattered rains on Friday, the state weather bureau said.

Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan will continue to receive monsoon rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The storm in the southern part of China is enhancing the southwest monsoon prevailing over the western section of Luzon.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies and scattered rains due to the southwest monsoon.

A low pressure area in the eastern side of the Philippines will bring scattered rains over the Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga and Northern Mindanao.

Pagasa is closely monitoring if it will develop into a tropical depression although it not expected to make landfall.

The rest of the country will have fair weather with chances of isolated rains.
