This is the second round of its clearing operations following the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s order (DILG) to remove obstructions in metro roads within 60 days.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and Pateros Mayor Ike Ponce joined the MMDA in clearing roads of illegal structures such as signposts, parked vehicles, and illegal vendors.
The operations started at the San Joaquin Bridge or Bambang Bridge in Pasig City until M. Concepcion Avenue in Pateros City. /muf
