DPWH exec found dead inside car in Bulacan
BALIWAG, BULACAN –– An official of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was found dead inside his car along a bypass road in this town at past midnight on Tuesday, police said.
Police Maj. Avelino Protacio, Baliwag police chief, said there were no visible signs of injuries on the body of Alejandro Centeno, a resident of William Ville II, Barangay San Juan, City of Malolos.
Centeno was the head of the Quality Assurance Section of the DPWH Second Engineering District office in Sta. Maria town.
Protacio said residents and motorists reported seeing an unattended vehicle at the shoulder of the bypass road in Barangay Tarcan about 11 p.m. on Monday, prompting police to respond to the scene.
Centeno’s body was found on the rear passenger seat of the car, investigators said.
Protacio said they were still waiting for the autopsy result to determine the cause of Centeno’s death.
