Twister, rare in Pampanga, hurts 5 students, destroys houses
A freak act of nature which officials called a twister for lack of a better term injured five students and wrecked structures in Magalang town, Pampanga province, local disaster officials said.
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in Magalang said the twister swept through the villages of San Pablo 2nd and Sta. Cruz around 1:20 p.m. on Monday (July 29).
The twister also tore off roofs of Magalang Institute and toppled fences in the villages.
