MANILA, Philippines – Local flights were canceled on Sunday due to bad weather across the country, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.
In an advisory, Miaa said that the following domestic flights were canceled:
Cebu Pacific
5J 771 Manila- Pagadian
5J 772 Pagadian – Manila
5J 781 Manila – Ozamiz
5J 782 Ozamiz – Manila
SkyJet
M8 511 Manila – Camiguin
M8 512 Camiguin – Manila
M8 713 Manila – Busuanga
M8 714 Busuanga – Manila
According to the weather bureau, the whole country on Sunday will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon.
The bureau warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. /je
