MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms will prevail over the Ilocos Region, MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), Zambales, and Bataan due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” the weather bureau said in its 4:00 a.m. Friday forecast.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
Pagasa said the whole country would experience southwest-west light to moderate wind speed while coastal waters would be slight to moderate (0.6 to 2.1 meters).
The lowest temperature was 25.3°C recorded at 5:30 a.m. while the maximum temperature will be 32.3°C at 2:50 p.m., according to Pagasa. /muf
