MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila will experience heavy to intense rain shower with lightning and strong winds on Thursday night, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In an advisory released 8:30 p.m., Pagasa said the rain shower can be expected within the next one to two hours.
Several provinces in Luzon, meanwhile, are also experiencing rain showers with lightning and strong winds.
Affected provinces include Pampanga, Rizal, Bataan, Zambales, Laguna, and Bulacan. Nearby areas may also be affected.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” Pagasa said./ac
