San Juan bans parking along select roads in Greenhills

MANILA, Philippines — Starting on Thursday, vehicles can no longer park along certain roads in Brgy. Greenhills in San Juan City from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora has signed an executive order (EO) declaring the following streets in Brgy. Greenhills as “no parking zones.”

These are:

  1. Club Filipino Ave.
  2. Annapolis St. — from the corner of Annapolis St. to corner of Missouri St.
  3. Connecticut St. — from corner of Missouri St. to the corner of Ortigas Ave.

The EO was signed last week and is effective on Thursday, July 25.

“We already implemented Executive Order No. 4, clearing the streets in Brgy. Greenhills,” Zamora told reporters in an interview in the sidelines of the Metro Manila Council meeting in Makati City.

“Today was very good for us because for the first time, walang traffic sa Greenhills Center,” he added. /jpv
