Bikoy’s lawyer mulling impeachment rap vs Robredo
MANILA, Philippines – Lawyer Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon on Thursday said that an impeachment complaint against Vice President Leni Robredo may be in the offing after sedition and other criminal charges were filed against her and 35 other personalities tagged in the release of the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video series that linked President Duterte’s family and allies to the drug trade.
Gadon is the legal counsel of the video series’ self-confessed narrator, Peter Joemel Advincula, alias “Bikoy”.
“That is one of the direction we may take. Of course if she is indicted, that could be the next step, the impeachment proceedings against her. That’s the plan,” Gadon said in an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel.
“That’s my plan only. Ibig sabihin, hindi naman involved dito yung OSG (Office of the Solicitor General),” said Gadon.
His affidavit was the origin for the filing of the case against Robredo and the 35 other individuals.

Gadon denied that his being the lawyer of Advincula is the handiwork of Malacanang.
He said it was Advincula who personally approached him.
He likewise denied that Advincula was being paid to accuse Robredo, opposition personalities, and Catholic bishops of involvement in the release of the video series.
“The government has nothing to do with this. While the OSG may be involved in this affidavit, it is only normal because the CIDG is a government agency and government agencies are supposed to consult the OSG whenever there are legal issues on their hands,” he said. /gsg
