3 suspected drug pushers fall in Lucena

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in two separate buy-bust operations here on Wednesday and Thursday.

Lea Delacion, 30, and Dimple Cabugwang, 23, were collared by anti-illegal drugs operatives after they sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer accompanied by an informant in a transaction in Barangay Ibabang Iyam around 2 a.m. Thursday, Lt. Col. Reydante Ariza, Lucena police chief, said in a report.


The two suspects yielded 16 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 9.3 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P17,205. The seized drugs were worth P51,150 in the street market at the prevailing price of P5,500 per gram.

Earlier, authorities also busted Cassey Edward Flores, 34, after he sold shabu to another police agent in Barangay Kanlurang Mayao on Wednesday afternoon.
