MANILA, Philippines—A 15-year-old girl was raped allegedly by two construction workers and a fisherman who joined her birthday celebration on a beach at a village in Puerto Princesa City on Sunday (July 21).
The victim’s friend said the assault took place around 3 a.m. after the girl went to the suspects’ house to rest after having a few beers.
The friend said she witnessed the suspects rape the victim while she was asleep. The friend waited for the suspects to leave and helped the victim get home.
When the victim’s mother learned about what happened, she called police who arrested the suspects identified as Jaime Manaay Bonghanoy Jr, 18, Kyle Padong, 18, and Ronald Andales, 22. They are facing charges of rape and child abuse./TSB
