MANILA, Philippines — Some notable names in Philippine politics graced the red carpet on Monday for President Rodrigo Duterte’s fourth State of the Nation Address.
Three former presidents—Fidel V. Ramos, Joseph Estrada and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo—chose to make a personal appearance to hear Duterte’s speech.
Also gracing the red carpet is former senator Anna Dominique “Nikki” Coseteng.
Moro National Liberation Front founder Nur Misuari waved to the cameras as he entered the House of the Representatives.
And Cabinet members such as Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo and Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana were seen entering the building.
