Tondo’s most wanted robber nabbed in QC

MANILA, Philippines – Tondo’s fifth most wanted fugitive who is wanted for robbery, has been arrested in Quezon City.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno presented fugitive Nikko Bago, 22, during a press conference at the Manila City Hall on Monday.

According to Moreno, Bago is the subject of an arrest warrant for robbery issued by the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 9 on January 21, 2019 for a robbery.

Moreno said Bago was in hiding for six months before the Manila Police District Station 2 received a tip on his whereabouts in Quezon City.

The station then deployed police officers to track down Bago who was arrested last July 15 along Quirino Highway in Novaliches.

Meanwhile, Moreno has vowed that the city government’s  anti-criminality campaign will continue as he warned that the local government of Manila is taking criminality as a “serious matter.”  /muf
