‘Bikoy’ bares proof of ouster plot
MANILA, Philippines — Phone messages, house keys and a condominium access card, IDs and utility bills under a different name and purchase receipts.
These were the proof that President Rodrigo Duterte’s former accuser turned star witness offered to back up his tale of a seditious plot supposedly by Vice President Leni Robredo and 31 members of the opposition, clergy, lawyers and private individuals.
In his sworn statement to the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Peter Joemel Advincula alias “Bikoy” said he saved his phone text exchanges with his supposed coplotters, of which included former senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Fr. Albert Alejo of Ateneo de Manila University.
The 30-year-old ex-convict said he still had the keys to Bahay Dagani in Ateneo de Manila Residence and a house in Dela Costa Homes in Marikina City, and the access card to a unit in The Grove Residences in Pasig City where he was given sanctuary by the Jesuit priests and opposition supporters.
He also offered as proof a fake driver’s license and identification cards from the Social Security System and Professional Regulatory Commission as a licensed teacher, under the name of Pablo Jose Magnu which he claimed was issued to him by Trillanes.

He also gave up utility bills under his supposed false name for the houses where he stayed, and receipts for the equipment he bought to make the videos that circulated in April implicating President Duterte’s family to the illicit drug trade.
Defeated senatorial candidate Lorenzo Gadon, acting as Advincula’s counsel, released a copy of the sworn statement, which was the sole basis for the CIDG’s complaint before the Department of Justice alleging Robredo, Trillanes, opposition senators and senatorial candidates, bishops and priests, human rights lawyers and other individuals plotted to overthrow the President.
The plan, allegedly dubbed “Project Sodoma,” was hatched in August 2018, according to Advincula, who claimed he was introduced by Father Alejo to Trillanes and his staff member Jonnell Sangalang.
He claimed the plan was to spread disinformation against the President in order to install Robredo as president and Trillanes as Vice President before June 30, 2019.
Advincula claimed he was promised P500,000 by Trillanes in exchange for making the anti-Duterte videos, but that he did not receive the payment.
