MANILA, Philippines — “Rockstar” mayors Vico Sotto of Pasig City and Manila’s Isko Moreno finally met on Saturday.

In a photo shared by the Manila Public Information Office, the 30-year-old Pasig City Mayor crossed paths with the 44-year-old Manila City Mayor on the sidelines of the MVP Superhero Fun Run at the Meralco Compound in Pasig City.
Joining them in the event is businessman Manny V. Pangilinan on the sidelines of the event.

Since being elected as mayors of Pasig City and Manila respectively, both Sotto and Moreno have had a following among their constituents—and on social media— for being considered as young and innovative leaders.
Both Sotto and Moreno have been known too to defeat well-known names while running for their respective posts. Moreno defeated former President and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, while Sotto ended the 27-year hold of the Eusebio clan on the Pasig City mayoral post. /muf
