Vehicle falls from Ortigas hotel parking, injures driver

MANILA, Philippines — A driver of a 4×4 pick-up truck was injured after the vehicle fell from the second floor parking space of a hotel in Ortigas, Pasig City on Friday.

A report from the Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the victim as Rocky Pagaragan Yabut, 30, driver of the Ford Ranger pick-up truck.

Police said the vehicle fell at the ground floor car entrance of The Malayan Plaza Hotel located at the corner of Topaz and Opal Roads in Brgy. San Antonio, Pasig City.

Pagaragan was then brought to Rizal Medical Center for treatment after he fractured his left arm and left leg. /jpv
