Sedition case vs Robredo, 35 others ‘pure hogwash’ — De Lima
MANILA, Philippines — Opposition Senator Leila de Lima on Friday slammed as “pure hogwash” the sedition case and other complaints filed against Vice President Leni Robredo and 35 others who were linked to the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos.
The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) has filed sedition and other complaints against Robredo and 35 others including incumbent and former senators and priests after they were tagged in the release of the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos.

“Pure hogwash, pure hogwash yung mga kaso na naman yan. Basura yun… Hogwash, pure hogwash. Basura, mas basura pa yan siguro kaysa mga isinampang kaso sa akin,” De Lima said in an ambush interview.

The senator wondered how the PNP-CIDG conducted its investigation.
“Hindi ko alam kung paano nag-imbestiga ang CIDG. They’re supposed to have subpoeana powers now, right?,” she said.
“Wala man lang semblance of a decent and professional investigative work,” De Lima added. /muf
