According to the Department of Public Works and Highways, the 18.7-kilometer elevated expressway project named Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3, once completed, will divert 100,000 vehicles away from Edsa. Another project, the 32.6-km Southeast Metro Manila Expressway will remove another 100,000 cars from Edsa.
