DID YOU KNOW: 144 birth anniversary of Katipunera Marina Dizon

/ 05:00 AM July 18, 2019

Today, July 18, is the 144th birth anniversary of Marina Dizon, one of the women members of the Katipunan.

Born in Trozo, Manila, she served the Katipunan as a “lookout,” later becoming the secretary of the chapter.

When the Katipunan was discovered on August 1896, she and her husband, Jose Turiano Santiago, fled from their house.
