“When I was inspecting our police stations and police community precincts noong mga nakaraang araw, nakita natin na napaka-ganda dahil hindi lang Manila, pati yung ibang lugar, ang lilinis na rin ng mga kalsada,” he said.

“I’m really impressed doon sa kanyang ginagawa doon sa initial weeks pa lang ng kanyang panunungkulan actually lahat tayo gusto natin yung kanyang ginagawa,” he added.

For his part, Moreno said that he was humbled by Eleazar’s visit to his office.

Moreno said he appreciates the assistance being given by the Philippine National Police and the NCRPO in the implementation of city ordinances and in maintaining peace and order in Manila.

“Malaking bagay na ang kapulisan ay katulong ng local na pamahalaan sa pagpapatupad ng kaayusan,” Moreno said.

“So far for the past 15 days, very cooperative ang Philippine National Police, ang ating district director na si General Danao through the guidance of our regional director General Eleazar, and other officers,” he added. /muf
