Robbers hit Metrobank’s Binondo branch

MANILA, Philippines – Some seven armed robbers hit Metrobank’s branch in Binondo, Manila on Thursday morning, the Manila Police District (MPD) said.

Personnel from the MPD’s Station 11 in Binondo said that the robbery at the bank located at Sto. Cristo St. corner Claro M. Recto Avenue was already over when police officers were called to respond.

The MPD said police officers are now deployed in the area. The MPD however has declined to provide additional information on the robbery while investigation is ongoing. /muf
