235 kilos of double dead meat seized anew in Manila
MANILA, Philippines — The local government of Manila seized more than 235 kilos of “botcha” or “double dead” meat at Ilaya, Recto early Monday.
The “botcha” chicken meat were seized around 1 a.m. by the Veterinary Inspection Board (VIB) inspectors during their routine inspection.
According to VIB, the meat were found hidden under the tables. However, no individual was arrested.
The VIB said that no one was present handling the botcha chicken meat when they conducted the inspection.
No one also admitted or at least pin-pointed who owned the hundred kilogram double dead meat.
