PDEA seizes P6.8M ‘shabu’ in Cavite buy-bust

MANILA, Philippines – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Special Enforcement Service (PDEA-SES) have confiscated P6.8 million worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation at a parking lot of a shopping mall in Bacoor, Cavite.

PDEA reported Friday the recovery of a kilogram of suspected illegal drugs during the operation on the second floor of the mall’s parking lot at around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Two suspects were arrested in the operation and now facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Editor: Eden Estopace)
