Alleged notorious drug pusher falls in Quezon buy-bust

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested an alleged notorious drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Dolores town in Quezon province early Friday.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Bryan Capila, 29, after he sold shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay Dagatan around 2:30 a.m.

The suspect, who did not resist arrest, yielded eight sachets of shabu weighing 40 grams worth P220,000 in the street market at the prevailing price of P5,500 per gram.

Authorities also confiscated one KIA Sportage believed used by the suspect in illegal drug distribution.

Police tagged the suspect as one of the remaining notorious shabu distributors to street level pushers in the locality and neighboring towns. (Editor: Leti Z. Boniol)
