Kenyans rule men’s 10k of Earth Run

KENYANS Abraham Missous and Francis Kakui finished first and second in the 10k category of yesterday’s Earth Run of Solar Entertainment held at the Parkmall in Mandaue City.

Missous clocked 32 minutes and 11 seconds while Kakui had a time of 32 minutes and 44 seconds to rule the 10k side. Joebert Carolino of Davao claimed the third spot with a time of 33 minutes and one second.

In the 10k distaff side, Joeyry Lee of the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation ruled the race with a time of 46 minutes and 23 seconds time.

Path Torimoro clocked 48 minutes and 26 seconds to place second while Remyrose Bagares rounded off the top three female runners with a time of 56 minutes and 45 seconds.

Michael Estrera ruled the 5k category along with USP-F’s Aiza Suaybaguio.  Winners in the 3k were Lorna Olarita and John Cliff Debolusan. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
