DID YOU KNOW: 99 leptospirosis case recorded Jan-Apr 2019

According to the Department of Health, 99 leptospirosis patients were hospitalized in Metro Manila disease reporting units (DRU) from January to April 2019.

Among the DRUs in the region, the National Kidney and Transplant Institute admitted the highest number of patients at 24, followed by the East Avenue Medical Center with 12. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
