/ 09:32 AM July 01, 2019

MANILA, Philippines – A vintage bomb was discovered by a group of children in a waterway in Balut, Tondo, Manila.

The Manila Police District (MPD) said the children were collecting recyclables when they spotted the explosive Sunday afternoon.

The children later found out that the item was a vintage bomb when they tried to sell it to a junkshop owner, police said.

The explosive was brought to the covered court in the area, which was cordoned off by personnel of the MPD’s Raxabago station. /gsg
