2 domestic flights canceled on Monday

MANILA, Philippines –  Two flights were canceled on Monday due to inclement weather.

In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced that the following flights have been canceled:

In its daily weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa)  said Tropical Depression Egay will bring rains and gusty winds over Batanes and Babuyan group of islands.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Central Luzon, meanwhile, will experience monsoon rains, Pagasa said.

It added that the southwest monsoon will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas and the rest of Luzon.

Mindanao meantime will have cloudy to partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers. /gsg
