June 30 to July 7: Mahal na Poon ng Krus sa Wawa
Annual fluvial procession along Bocaue River in Bulacan province featuring a floating pagoda carrying devotees and a venerated wooden cross called “Mahal na Poon ng Krus sa Wawa.”
Kept in St. Martin of Tours, Bocaue town’s parish church, the relic was supposedly discovered floating along Wawa, a section of Bocaue River, hundreds of years ago.
June 30 to July 7: San Carlos City Charter Day
Celebration of the 59th charter day anniversary of San Carlos City in Negros Occidental province, with the theme “Towards a Progressive San Carlos City through Unity and Continuity.”
Event highlights include the charter day parade, pedicab design contest, infantry battalion exhibit and a tree-planting activity.
