2 suspects fire at undercover cop, miss, killed in drug bust

BONGABON, Nueva Ecija–Two alleged drug peddlers were killed in a police operation at the village of Cruz here at dawn on Friday.

Police said Ruel Magisa and William Chioco, both residents of the village of La Torre in Talavera town, shot an undercover agent using their .38-caliber revolvers but missed.


Police returned fire and killed the two drug suspects around 2:45 a.m.

Police said they recovered the suspects’ guns, 11 sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and marked money. ARMAND GALANG (Editor: Tony Bergonia)
