Man who stole cow dies after it kicks him in groin—reports

A man in India died after a cow he had stolen kicked him in the groin.

The 50-year-old man was identified as Govindappa, who had multiple cases of smuggling against him, Opindia reported on June 26.

He stole a cow from a farmhouse in Appenahalli, a village located at the southern state of Karnataka, as per Kannada News via Opindia. After traveling with the cow for two kilometers, he tried to force it into a vehicle so it could be transported. In return, the cow kicked him in the groin, causing his death.

Govidappa was found the next morning in the outskirts of the village, Suvarna News reported on June 24. People from the town informed Nuggehalli police of his death, and an autopsy confirmed that he died from the blow to his groin.  Niña V. Guno /ra
