MANILA — A top ranking Chinese official recently paid Makati Mayor Abby Binay a courtesy visit.
Wan Gang, vice chairman of the People’s Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Zigong Party, China’s second biggest political party, was recently on a goodwill tour in the Philippines together with a big delegation.
The two officials exchanged views on how to strengthen areas of cooperation between China and Makati City.
Mayor Binay met the Chinese leader in Beijing in 2013 while she was still Representative of Makati’s second district.
