Sales agent shot dead by 3 men in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — A 31-year-old sales agent was shot dead by three unidentified gunmen in Intramuros, Manila early Thursday morning.

A report from the Manila Police District (MPD) Homicide Section identified the victim as Jay-ar Supelana of Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Supelana was in a drinking session with his friends along Victoria corner J. Luna Street at 12:10 a.m. when three unidentified men wearing full-face motorcycle helmets arrived aboard a motorcycle and shot him several times.

After the shooting, the gunmen then fled aboard the motorcycle while Supelana was rushed to a hospital. Police said Supelana was declared dead at 12:30 a.m.

Recovered from the scene were 10 spent shells of an unknown gun caliber and two slugs.
