JOAVAN IN ANOTHER FEEDING PROGRAM
THE Cebu City police will invite Joavan Fernandez to its feeding program for street children next week.
Senior Supt. Melvin Ramon Buenafe, chief of the Cebu City Police Office, said the adopted son of Talisay City Mayor Socrates Fernandez, should continue participating in civic activities and stay away from illegal activities.
Joavan had promised to reform following his several brushes with the law.
Buenafe offered to be his mentor.
Joavan spearheaded a feeding program last Tuesday in Talisay City where he served bowls of “pospas” (congee) to at least 200 children.
