LEGAZPI CITY –– Two suspected illegal drug pushers were arrested by anti-narcotics operatives in a drug operation in a coastal village here early Wednesday morning.
Christian Frivaldo, acting director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Bicol, said Agnes Ingles, a village councilwoman, and her live-in partner Ruben Mirabel, were arrested in Barangay Dinagaan at 5:15 a.m.
Recovered from the two were 11 small plastic sachets containing suspected shabu (crystal meth) with a street value of P68,000.
According to Frivaldo, the suspects were considered “high-value targets” of the agency. Mar S. Arguelles
