DID YOU KNOW: 140 dengue deaths recorded Jan.1 to Feb. 23, 2019

According to the Department of Health, there were 140 deaths due to dengue nationwide from Jan. 1 to Feb. 23.

The fatality rate was lower compared to the 104 deaths recorded during the same period in 2018.

The provinces with the highest number of deaths were Cebu with 23, Cagayan with 13, and Negros Occidental with seven.
