MANILA, Philippines — Water firms on Friday released their updated water service interruption schedule as the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) will reduce its water allocation due to the low water level in Angat Dam.
The NWRB will reduce the allotment to water concessionaires of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) to 36 cubic meters per second (CMS) from 40 CMS.
Manila Water announced on Facebook that the Metro Manila East Zone cities and municipalities in Rizal province will experience water service cutoffs starting Saturday.
