Duterte appoints 20 new judges

MANILA, Philippines—President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed 20 new judges, including an Oriental Mindoro prosecutor still recuperating from a gun attack last June 10.

The wounded prosecutor, Josephine Caranzo, is now regional trial court (RTC) judge in Calapan City.

Villamonte, Armin Noel B. – RTC 155, Biñan City, Laguna; Martinez, Arnold R. – RTC 108, Cabuyao, Laguna; Mailom-Orendain, Angelina A. – RTC 92, Calamba City, Laguna; Buenaluz, Hector A. Jr. – RTC 103, Calamba City, Laguna; Pantua, Maria Cecilia T. – RTC 104, Calamba City, Laguna.
