QC drug bust yields P480K worth of shabu, 3 arrested
MANILA, Philippines — Three suspected drug pushers were arrested and some P480,000 worth of shabu were seized during a buy-bust operation in Fairview, Quezon City on Wednesday night.
Quezon City police identified those arrested as Kamim Sharif, Mangopia Panod and Ricardo Alquizer.
Police said Alquizer is included in the Fairview police station’s watchlist of drug personalities.
The bust was conducted by agents of the Fairview police station’s Drug Enforcement Team led by Maj. Don Llapitan along Camaro Street in Barangay Greater Fairview at around 10 p.m.
Seized during the bust were 60 grams of shabu valued at P408,000 and another 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000.
Also seized from the suspects were a cellphone, marked money worth P10,000 used in the bust, and cash worth P1,500.
