Fire hits village in Quezon City – report

MANILA, Philippines — Fire broke out in Project 4, Quezon City on Wednesday afternoon, emergency dispatch TXTFirePhilippines reported. 

The blaze in Barangay San Roque has reached 3rd alarm as of 5:36 p.m., according to authorities.

It was declared under control by 6:40 p.m., the Quezon City Fire Station said, adding that the fire engulfed houses that were made of light materials.

Fire investigators have yet to determine how many residents were affected by the incident. The cost of damage left by the blaze was also still undetermined as of this posting (Editor: Katherine G. Adraneda)
