Pasay cops seize shabu from student flagged down for not wearing helmet

MANILA, Philippines – A student was arrested for possession of suspected shabu (crystal meth) after he was flagged down for not wearing a protective helmet while on board his motorcycle in Pasay on Tuesday night.

Operatives of Pasay police station and Tactical Motorcycle Riders Units (TMRU) arrested the 18-year-old student of Alternative Learning System.

After being flagged down for not wearing a helmet, the student was asked to show his driver’s license.

He failed to show one and became “uneasy.” This prompted law enforcers to conduct a body search.

Recovered from him was a sachet of suspected shabu marked with “RMB.”

The student was brought to Pasay police station as he awaits charges for his offense.
