CABANATUAN CITY — A man in the local police drugs watchlist was killed during a buy-bust operation here on Tuesday, police said.
Police Col. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief, said Patricio Azurin, a resident of Barangay Dicarma here, drew his .9mm-caliber pistol and fired at an undercover agent that led to a shootout during the operation about 11:30 p.m.
Investigators recovered the suspect’s gun, 12 sachets containing suspected shabu (crystal meth), drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money. Armand Galang
