MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections will not yet issue the certificate of proclamation to Duterte Youth party-list pending petitions filed against its nominee, Ronald Cardema, Commissioner Rowena Guanzon said Wednesday.
“Ay 1:30, the first division will have a hearing on these petitions and these two petitions will be consolidated in the first division. After these hearings, it will be raffled to a ponente,” Guanzon told reporters.
“In the meantime, the Commission en banc has decided that because of these pending cases questioning his qualification to substitute, the Commission en banc will not yet issue a proclamation certificate to Duterte Youth party-list,” she added. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
