MANILA, Philippines – The NLEX Corporation on Tuesday advised the public to brace for any inconvenience to be caused by the scheduled repair of the Bocaue River Bridge that will last for three months.
In an advisory, the company said the Bocaue River Bridge will undergo deck slab replacement and girder strengthening from June 19 to September 7 this year.
The project will involve three stages. During the first stage (June 19-July 12), a 100-meter portion of the Bocaue River Bridge southbound middle lanes will be closed for rehabilitation works.
“Please expect traffic delays due to lane closures and counterflow that will be implemented in certain sections,” the company said.
“Counterflow scheme will be implemented as needed,” it added. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
